We were just talking about the Jaguar Project 7, and how some pictures leaked just a couple of days ahead of its official release at Goodwood.
Seeing that the cat’s out of the bag, the British car maker came out and made it official, giving us some much needed info.
First off, we are happy to find out that the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 will go into production, even if only 250 units will be produced. Built as a tribute to the Jaguar D-Type, the Project 7 F-Type will be the “the fastest and most powerful production Jaguar” to date.
That title comes thanks to a 5.0 liter V8 engine capable of delivering 575 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Couple that with an automatic eight speed Quickshift transmission and you get an acceleration time to 92 km/h of just 3.8 seconds, before stopping at 300 km/h.
