The lovely Opel Adam S has recently received the go ahead in Germany, where the model will be launched from 18,690 euros. Next year, the Adam S will be also seen in other European countries.
Since Germany is the home for the lovely Adam S, the model will receive a special treatment, like a tuned up performance chassis, consisting of an extraordinary and good looking body style, performance steering, chrome plated tailpipe, side sill moldings, front lip spoiler or the 18-inch Typhoon alloy wheels.
Inside, the Opel Adam S will also benefit some fine sporty features, namely sport pedals, Recaro sports seats as optional and a few more.
I am sure you are also interested in the kind of power the Adam S will come with. Well you will not be dissapointed, as the German carmaker has fitted the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit under the hood.
This should be enough for the agile Opel Adam S to develop 148 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, which for a city car, is quite good. The unit also comes fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission, which allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h at 8.5 seconds.
Apart from that, the model is also cheap in terms of fuel, as it comes with a low consumption of just 5.9 L / 100 km. The top speed of the Opel Adam S stands at 210 km/h.
