Last year, around the first half of the year when we first heard about Opel Adam, we didn’t actually give it a long life on the market, but now, if we look back, we might state that we predicted wrong.
Adam has made a step forward with the Adam minicar, as sales managed to exceed 21,000 units in Germany alone last year.
Adam was not the only model to play with last year, as the other Opel`s model, Mokka, a subcompact CUV (known in the US as the Buick Encore), was also a winner, and both models improve the company`s market share with an overall positive position both in Germany and the rest of Europe as well.
Last year, sales for Opel increased from 0.1 percent up to 7 percent in Germany, while in Europe, the brand managed to achieve a 5.59 percent growth up to 5.61 percent, which is not bad at all.
With all the difficulties in the business industry that Europe is facing right now, Opel seems to have an advantage over other car manufacturer from Germany or other countries.
