Volkswagen pulled the wraps off the GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo, a concept model which has been leaked few days ago. Of course, we talk about a concept model, ready to make its debut at Wörthersee on May 28.
From what we see from these sketches, the German model adopts a sporty silhouette with a roofless configuration. Under the bonnet sits a 3.0-liter TSI engine producing 503 horsepower and 665 Nm of torque.
It is linked to a seven-speed DSG transmission and, alongside the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, should provide significant performance figures.
You will also notice the 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/35 (front) and 275/30 (rear) tires. The Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo is designed for Gran Turismo 6, therefore, you will see it more often in the video game.
We are keen to see the German concept in flesh next week at Wörthersee as these sketches may not make justice yet.
