Today we get a closer look at the Citroen DS Wild Rubis Concept, a model which has been revealed in world premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show.
Power is provided by a 1.6-liter gasoline unit with 225 horsepower and an electric motor producing an extra 70 horses. Four-wheel drive comes standard with the new model while a zero-emission 50 kilometers driving range is provided by the electric motor and the lithium-ion battery.

The French concept measures 4,7 meters in length, 1,9 meters in width and rides a wheelbase of 2,9 meters.

“The full-hybrid plug-in technology of DS Wild Rubis is perfectly in line with Citroën’s commitment to environmentally considerate motoring,” adds the company.

Even this is just a concept, the company lets us know that it is meant to preview a forthcoming crossover model which is very likely to debut next year. Several styling features found on the DS Wild Rubis Concept are very likely to be carried over.
