Volkswagen pulled the wraps off a new special edition, this time based on the current-generation Golf hatchback. The Volkswagen Golf Borussia Mönchengladbach will be offered in Germany in a limited run of 50 units.
At the exterior, the football-themed model comes with a white finish, 18-inch alloy wheels, black and green body graphics as well as badges showing the Borussia Mönchengladbach logo.
Volkswagen also fitted the car with the R-Line exterior package which brings a series of subtle aesthetic improvements. Enter the cabin and you will see a leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as stainless steel pedal caps.
If you are one of the lucky 50 buyers of this special model, Volkswagen will also give you a special package containing Borussia Mönchengladbach merchandise including a sun visor, a signed shirt, a branded key chain and special number plate holders.
