Chevrolet released details and photos on the new Camaro Z/28, a track-focused model which was showcased in world premiere at the New York Auto Show.
Power is provided by a massive 7.0-liter V8 engine producing more than 500 horsepower and 637Nm of torque. It is linked to a six-speed Tremec transmission and will certainly return impressive performance figures.

Styling tweaks include new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, 19-inch alloys with Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires, a quad-pipe exhaust system and a rear wing.

The new Camaro Z/28 comes with an improved total mass, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a retuned suspension with stiffer springs and adjustable dampers, a limited-slip differential and more.

“As the ultimate track-capable Camaro, this car restores the mission of the original Z/28, and serves as a testament to the expertise of Chevrolet as the best-selling brand of performance cars,” concludes the carmaker.
