It seems that Alfa Romeo just keeps on celebrating their centenary by showing off their older models by using ever more interesting methods.
So what are they up to this time? Well, not originally they’re featuring their cars in movies. Actually that’s not entirely true as the scenery in these pictures isn’t the sort of things you can see in the actual movie.
Oh no, what the Italians went for is take some of the most beautiful Alfa Romeo models ever made, take some photos of them and then shipped them over to a Mr. Federico B. Alliney for a bit of editing.
Actually make that a lot of editing. If you’re not familiar to the world of photographic editing or with Federico B. Alliney’s work you should know that he’s partially responsible for the the scenery and animation behind the Avatar block buster movie that came out earlier in the year.
With that in mind Alliney had the opportunity to work on stuff like the original 8C 2300, the Disco Volante, Giulia, BAT 9, and even the Carabo concept.
Apparently, the imagery of Alfa Romeos and Avatar or other artsy like backgrounds will be available in a limited series of prints.
