The Germans are generally pleased with their work but they are also ready to admit when one of their cars isn’t too successful.
Unfortunately for Audi, a company that is challenging for the lead of the sales in the championship that is the luxury or premium segment, this is the case for their RS5.

Even though the handsome coupe has plenty of pluses and interesting features on its side it has to admit to one simple fact, it’s not really as good as the BMW M3.
In hoping to add a little more cheer to the Audi RS5, the Ingolstadt based manufacturer is about to make a convertible version of their hot coupe.
We don’t know anything from a source inside the company, anything from Audi’s PR people or anything of the like but we’ve been finding it out from something more and more usual these days.

Its courtesy of a leaked trademark filling form Audi submitted of their RS5 Cabrio that also included some photos of how it’s bound to look.
Nothing truly surprising there and with the same 4.2 liter V8 engine pushing out anywhere in the region of 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque there’s not really that much new under the bonnet either.

Overall the Audi RS5 Cabrio opens up the company to a new market but there’s not that much so I’m not exactly ready to buy into it.
