The all-new Cadillac ELR gets official pricing info for the United States. The hybrid model starts at $75,995 and is scheduled to go on sale early next year.
Under the hood we find a 1.4-liter petrol unit which recharges the 16.5 kWh lithium-ion battery. The latter powers a 207-horsepower electric motor which also provides a significant amount of torque, namely 400Nm.
According to the company, you will be able to travel a total of 480 kilometers in hybrid configuration while fully electric, the Cadillac ELR provides a range of 56 kilometers.
“The ELR is a unique blend of dramatic design with electric vehicle technology capable of total range in excess of 300 miles,” says the carmaker.
In terms of styling, the new ELR benefits from LED optical blocks, revised bumpers, new alloy wheels and a big front grille. Inside, you will find an improved CUE infotainment system as well as a wide range of safety systems such as Lane Departure Warning and Safety Alert Seat.
