Chevrolet unveiled the 2014 Malibu, a sedan which receives some styling and performance tweaks in order to make it more attractive to the customers.
At the exterior, you will notice the revised alloy wheels, new chrome inserts, a restyled front grille and other minor changes. Inside, buyers will benefit from improved front and rear seats, a new armrest, center console and trim.
Power is provided by a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit producing 196 horsepower and 253Nm of torque. It is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission and returns a fuel economy of 23mpg (city) and 35mpg (highway).
If you want more power, there is the 2.0-liter unit tuned to produce 259hp and 400Nm of torque while a revised power steering and a new braking system are offered as well. All in all, it seems that Chevrolet struggles to fit the new Malibu with several goodies able to attract more and more customers.
Pricing details are not available yet but expect full info at the model’s debut this fall.
