It all started years and years ago with the Mini. Car manufacturers started selling cars that were slightly focused more at fashion biased buyers.
Then came the Fiat 500 and rewrote the whole rulebook on retro cars.
Citroen revived the DS3 and killed off the whole buzz with retro intentions. Even so, the Italians are proud of their Fiat 500 and decided to raise the bar slightly.
So here we are, the Bologna Motor Show and the Fiat stand. What’s in it, is called the Fiat 500 Bicolore. A tribute to old school two tone designs the Fiat 500 Bicolore serves up a remember moment like those of your high-school.
Underneath the nostalgia and the fashion looks the Fiat 500 Bicolore has a turbocharged Twin Air two cylinder engine that gives you 85 horsepower.
Also very retro is what you’ll find on the interior of the new Fiat 500 Bicolore as it has everything an American car from the 50s used to get. I’m talking about things like chrome being found inside.
Oh and another thing, the Italians really like the idea of the limited editions of the Fiat 500 and so along side the Bicolore they will be creating quite a few more over the following months.
