Only few hours ago we published an article regarding the new Skoda Rapid Sport, a model which was previewed by the Czech company.
Today, Skoda decides to showcase the sportier variant of the Rapid sedan at the 2013 Wörthersee. Looking better in reality than in the official renderings, the new model sports a special red finish with silver accents, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and larger alloy wheels.
The side mirror caps also receive some improvements alongside the front grille and optical blocks.
Inside, you will see revised seats from Recaro, new sports steering wheel and special inserts. For now, Skoda revealed no plans of producing a similar version but the new Rapid Sport may foreshadow an upcoming RS model.
There are no details about the engine found under the hood or the performance figures. We are keen to find more about Skoda’s sportier proposal of the Rapid sedan.
