It seems that Skoda is preparing a sportier variant of the new Rapid sedan for the 2013 Wörthersee automotive event which will take place in Germany.
Looking at this official rendering from Skoda, the Czech model receives a grey base paint with red accents, larger alloy wheels with matching color, new side skirts, rear diffuser and front apron, a revised front grille and optical blocks.
A dual-exhaust is also offered by Skoda alongside carbon fiber inserts and other minor tweaks.
Inside, we expect to see illuminated door sill plates, new sport seats from Recaro, a revised steering wheel and new upholstery. The new Skoda Rapid Sport is very likely to enter production in this form even though the company released no information in this regard.
