Superchips released details on a comprehensive performance pack for the Vauxhall Astra VXR, a kit which brings additional power to the 2.0-liter stock engine.
The petrol unit offers 280 horsepower and 400Nm of torque in stock version but the Stage 1 kit brings another 23hp and 61Nm of torque.
This upgrade is available for all models built from March last year and costs £455. If you want more power, there is the Stage 2 package which comes with a sports catalyst and a new exhaust system. This adds 32 horsepower for an output of 312 horses and 474Nm of torque.
As you probably already guessed, the extra power comes from revised ECU units and the new free-flowing exhaust. Superchips’ package brings no styling improvements, therefore, you have to be content with the extra power.
