Toyota presented the 2014 Highlander SUV at the New York Auto Show, announcing that it will go on sale in the States towards the end of this year.
In terms of styling, the Japanese model comes with new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels with sizes ranging from 18 to 19 inches but also revised optical blocks.

Inside, buyers will benefit from wood trim, new center console, Entune infotainment system and a JBL audio system. Power is provided by a base 2.7-liter four-cylinder unit while a more potent 3.5-liter V6 is also available. The new Highlander will be offered in hybrid form as well, a powertrain coupled to a CVT unit.

“The 2014 model will offer a premium interior highlighted by increased spaciousness for up to eight people,” says Toyota.

More details including pricing information will be released in the coming months, as the debut date gets closer.
