Chevrolet has decided to offer heavy discounts for April, for its pick-up trucks, due to the bad sales it had over the past few months.
The decision was made after Chevrolet lost the US battle in favor of Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 for March, when the automaker was on tight spot with 42,247 pick-up trucks to be sold.

To manage to stay on the second place for the first quarter, Chevy offers significant discounts for its pick-up truck lineup.

Thus, the Silverado 1500 will be offered with an important $8,162 discount, while the heavy Silverado 2500HD will come with a higher discharged price of $8,974.

The top of the line trucks Silverado and GMC Sierra will come with a huge $10,000 discount.
The Chevy American automaker does not worry about offering such heavy discounts, since its pick-up truck lineup will still get to attract a lot of customers in the period to come.
Thus, Chevy has a big margin to play with, since its pickups will make a “huge chunk of the automakers global pre-tax earnings.”
