Chevrolet unveiled today the new SS, a quite powerful sedan which will enter the market later this year.
To begin with, under the bonnet sits a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 562Nm of torque.

Thanks to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Chevrolet SS does the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 5 seconds.

With a low center of gravity and an almost 50/50 weight distribution, the new SS is certainly a decent sports car, several other goodies such as a MacPherson strut front suspension and 355mm Brembo brake discs being offered as well.

The American model rides on 19-inch alloy wheels with 245/40 ZR19 (front) and 275/35 ZR19 (rear) Bridgestone tires. Inside, customers will find leather bucket seats, a Bose audio system with nine speakers, ambient lightning and much more. Pricing and availability details will be released at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
