With the upcoming unveil of the next generation of McLaren, the powerful P13, the car automaker has revealed new details of the super car.
According to some reports, the P1 will be available for sale at the 120,000 GBP or 145, 500 EUR, at the current exchange rates, being a top rival for the Ferrari or Porsche.
The McLaren P13 will race against the Porsche 911, being smaller, lighter and more powerful than the present MP4-12C.
Although the two McLarens are different in terms of size, both supercars will share the same 3.8-liter V8 engine.
The unit also enhances more power. The P13 delivers a massive power, between 450 and 500 horsepower, being mated on a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, sending the power to the rear wheels.
Once the McLaren P13 will be put for sale, McLaren Automotive is expecting to generate solid profits for its investors, who have invested more than £500 million, with £80 million alone spent on research and development.
Hopefully, the McLaren will reveal the almighty P13 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in early March, and more details would be offered.
