While some people still giggle at the idea of the Hyundai Equus being taken seriously the luxury Korean vehicle seems to have arrived.

By arrived I mean it’s well appreciated by the tuning world as Mummbles Marketing have decided to update it some more.

Previous tuned versions of the 2010 Hyundai Equus were signed by Rhys Millen and DUB Magazine.

The Mummbles Marketing crew have managed to go for a different approach and still create something impressive. It might be talent of the tuning companies but it could also mean that the Hyundai Equus makes a good platform for customization.

Getting back to the actual creation of the Mummbles Marketing Crew I have to admit that it looks good, actually better than the ones that came before.

As an added bonus, the toys are definitely better. The biggest and possibly the best toy to have, is a turbocharger kit. In the case of the 2010 Equus it takes the 4.6 liter V8 up to a respectable 450 horsepower. Naturally, in order to keep that sort of grunt on the road there’s a special Air Lift digital air suspension and a set of bigger brakes with six pistons and drilled rotors for each wheel.

This is all very exciting but what I really love is the BASF custom deep burgundy paint (I love the color, even the name of the color) that they laid onto a 717 Motoring five piece body kit. As a nice finishing detail there’s a set of 22 inch Work Equip E10 wheels.

So far I’m totally loving the 2010 Hyundai Equus done by Mummbles Marketing but I find the interior at least just as good. The tuners fitted an enormously powerful stereo, a DVD player, a 20 inch apple screen and a few other toys.

Here’s the best part though, everything can be controlled via the use of an Apple iPad. It’s just like having a great car, with great looks, great toys and you can operate them all via a remote control that has a touch screen.

Oh, did I mention this thing will be on display at SEMA 2010?
