Here it is! A few weeks ago, we have shown you a Subaru XV Concept teaser. Now, it is at Geneva and it looks exactly as we expected: bold, solid and dynamic.

The best part is that the next XV will have the similar design philosophy, called Dynamic X Solid. This design line creates a solid, three dimensional body, without giving up its dynamism. It is emphasized by the character lines placed in key-points of the body, which creates an “Enjoyment and Piece of Mind” image. And because a real Subaru can’t be only interesting to look at, but also functional, the XV concept blends in an excellent way the low drag coefficient with the high ground clearance and the trunk volume.

The color in which Subaru decided to present the XV Concept is called “Glacier Khaki Silica” and evokes the glacier ice shade. It is interestingly highlighted by the matte-black cladding and the orange and silvery accents found in the lower and upper part of the body, which reveal the complex personality of the crossover. Its front and tail lights are horizontally oriented and C-shaped, while the fog lights are vertical, to equilibrate the entire image. The powerful shoulders are visible when looking at the front and the rear, creating a “Wide and Low” stance.

Regarding its exterior dimensions, it is more aggressive than the current XV model, being longer, wider and sharing the same height. The wheelbase has been increased with 35mm, adding a bit of comfort when passing over short bumps.
