This year’s edition of the Toyota Auto Salon seems to be full of concepts. Even if we talk about Honda, Toyota or any other local carmaker, each company tried to bring the best prototypes at the well-known automotive event.
One of them is the Toyota 86 Modellista concept, a model which received several styling improvements such as new front and rear bumpers, large alloy wheels, side skirts, and huge trapezoidal exhaust pipes.
Inside, the Japanese company provides contrasting red trim for the door panels, new leather upholstery and revised center console.
The new 18-inch WingDancer II alloys are fitted with high-performance Toyo T1 Sport tires while a revised suspension system capable to lower the ride is available as well.
It remains to be seen if the Toyota 86 Modellista concept will be a star at the Tokyo Auto Salon which may convince Toyota to introduce a special edition based on this prototype.
