Holden unveils today the Colorado Thunder edition, a special version of the Australian pickup model.
Under the hood we find a 2.8-liter four-cylinder unit producing 179 horsepower and 470Nm of torque. Performance figures are not available but we do know that the towing capacity is now rated at 3,500 kilograms.
In terms of styling, the new Colorado Thunder stands out thanks to a hood shield, side window deflectors, a revised front bar, special badges and revised floor mats.
“The Colorado Thunder pack is available on LX 4×4 Crew Cab Chassis and Pick Up, and LT and LTZ 4×4 Crew Cab Pick Up models,” says the company.
According to Holden, anyone interested in the new special edition should contact the local dealer in order to get pricing and availability details. The new Holden Colorado Thunder is already on sale but, as you probably guessed, it is available only in Australia.
Pickups are becoming a big thing over in the UK. I’m surprised Vauxhall part of GM doesnt rebadge this model and sell it in the UK
