Lotus has recently released the Elise Cup 250 model, which will arrive on the market starting this April, the based model costing 45,600 GBP or 61,000 euro in Germany.

What is the most interesting about the car, is the sheer power it comes with under the hood. We are dealing here with a 1.8-liter flat-four turbocharged engine, capable of developing 243 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The carmaker claims a 3.9 second acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, at a topping of 154 mph.

The entire performance figures are built around the fitting of other goodies, like adjustable front anti-roll bar, Eibach coaxial coil springs, updated braking system or Bilstein dampers.

From a visual standpoint, the Lotus Elise Cup 250 is coming with a standout aerodynamic package, consisting of lightweight materials, lithium-ion battery, or the 17-inch forged alloy wheels, which provide more grip and greater stance.

In case you want more goodies, then you can also choose the Carbon Aero Pack for additional bucks, the package coming with custom front splitter, rear diffuser and wing, side skirts and other carbon fiber body parts.

The cabin has also received the carbon fiber seats, leather steering, Alcantara upholstery, or aluminum gear knob. The interior can also be had with the Clarion audio system with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.
