The Spanish people from Seat released details and photos on the new Leon Cupra and Cupra 280, two models which will go on sale this spring.
At the heart of the model sits a 2.0-liter TSI engine producing 265 horses for the standard model and 280 horsepower for the Cupra 280.

The latter is dubbed as the most powerful road-going model from Seat, offering a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5,7 seconds with an automatic transmission. Fuel economy figures are rated at 44,1 mpg UK or 6,4 liters/100 km.

Seat also claims that the new model is 55 kilograms lighter while the new mechanical locking differential and the electronic stability control keeps the model on the road or not, if you choose to completely deactivate them.

At the exterior, the new Seat Leon offers 18-inch alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers, black inserts and a rear spoiler for the Cupra 280.
